While fans are busy gobbling up the leak legally awaiting the release of Working on a Dream, the album’s mastermind, Mr. Bruce Springsteen, is currently trying his hand in other creative endeavors, like radio DJ. Yes, even amidst all the coming madness, the Boss will soon take to the airwaves for a special radio program. Per Wicked Local:

It’s not listed on the website yet, but all-knowing Blogness regular Mr. Saucy (who did not get the name Mr. Saucy for nothing) tells me that the man himself, Bruce Springsteen, will be a a guest DJ on Sirius E Street Radio. A new promo supposedly touts his appearance during the usual 4 p.m. EST slot next Monday, Jan. 19, so if you don’t have Sirius/XM, it might be time for that three-day free trial.

The DJ spot comes one day after Bruce hits the stage with U2, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, and a slew of other notables in support of Obama and the same day NPR.org will begin streaming the aforementioned Working on a Dream, which is officially set for release on January 27th via Columbia Records.
