With the release of its much-anticipated sophomore studio album, Ray Guns Are Not Just The Future, set for release in less than two weeks, The Bird and the Bee is in full-fledged publicity mode.

Following a series of high-profile late night appearances on both Leno and Kimmel in the coming weeks, the incredibly catchy Los Angeles based duo better known as Inara George and Greg Kurstin will embark on a whole batch of new tour dates beginning in mid-February. The 11-date swing will last into early March and will be highlighted by an appearance at New York’s Carnegie Hall as part of the WFUV Live at Zankel series.

Ahead of the the live stops, The Bird and the Bee are currently spending their times teasing restless fans with the recently released video for the album’s lead single, “Love Letter to Japan”, and a cover version of Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop The Music”. In other words, you should have no probably getting your pop fix these days…
