Kanye West isn’t the only high-profile to dabble in the world of fashion these days. Leila Moss, who is perhaps best known for her work as frontlady of The Duke Spirit, has also tried her hand in the world of designing and recently was tapped to serve as muse for Alexander McQueen’s new fashion line. The collection, which will be available exclusively through Target, is said to offer a friendly indie feel, which makes sense considering the musician and band at question, featuring “lightweight knits, skinny jeans, bubble dresses, cuffed shorts and denim jackets imbued a rebellious punk edge.”
Sound cool? Did we mention Moss and her Duke Spirit bandmates will be releasing a brand new album to coincide with the new clothing line? Yes, beginning February 24th, you can head to Target not only to pick up Moss’ cool new digs, but a collection of previously unreleased Duke Spirit tunes as well. According to NME, the currently untitled effort will feature 10 tracks, including a cover of Alex Chilton’s “Baby Doll”.
Beat that, Kanye!
