It sure didn’t take the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival much time after officially announcing its move from Lawrence, Kansas to Ozark, Arkansas for the folks behind the four-day event to unpack their bags and unveil the first part of this year’s lineup.

The Yonder Mountain String Band and STS9 will head the 2009 edition of Wakarusa, scheduled to go down between June 4 and 7, with what are being billed as “two big sets,” while familiar Wakarusa favorites Buckethead and Galactic will hold the late night. Other notable acts currently confirmed to perform include legendary reggae duo Sly & Robbie, Railroad Earth, Steve Kimrock and his new band, Crazy Engine, and Widespread Panic’s Jimmy Herring and his band. All in all, the current lineup looks something like this:
