Sure it may be cold, windy, and downright miserable outside right now, but before you know it, spring will be here. Don’t believe me? Why else would Plants and Animals be announcing plans for a spring tour? After all, it’s not like the Canadian indie rockers are still touring in support of last year’s Parc Avenue and celebrating the fact that they’re nominated for two Juno Awards, including “Best New Group.”

Oh wait, they are. Regardless, it’d probably be a good idea to check out any of the band’s upcoming North American tour dates, which kick off with two performances in support of Blitzen Trapper later this month. After that, it’s all headlining shows, and plenty at that. Also, as if you needed another reason, word on the street is that Plants and Animals will be using their spring tour to showcase new material.
