Is your life long dream to map out the tour of your favorite band?
Ok, so maybe it’s not anyone’s “dream” per say, but you can definitely call what KISS is doing to celebrate its 35th anniversary unique. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer have partnered with Eventful.com for the first-ever “Fan-Routed” tour.
Here’s how it works: Beginning right this very second, fans across the U.S. and Canada can log onto Eventful.com and vote on which markets should be included on the band’s upcoming North American tour, which is set to begin in September. The markets with the most votes will get KISS, even if it means the band is force to play a cornfield – or so they say…
As an added bonus, fans who participate in the voting will have the opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets prior to the general on-sale.
Of course, given the band’s already announced upcoming itinerary, fans in many Canadian cities and New Orleans, the latter of which will see KISS headlining the Voodoo Music Experience on Halloween night, really don’t have to worry about voting. So, take this opportunity to sit back, relax, and watch the other cities battle it out…
