- On July 14th, Oakenfold will release Perfecto Vegas, a 21-track track “greatest hits” album of sorts that seeks to celebrates the DJ’s residency at the Palms Hotel & Casino last year with two-discs of material hand and selected and mixed by Oakenfold himself.
- Around the same time, Oakenfold will embark on a lengthy European tour, which includes opening spots on all upcoming dates of Madonna‘s “Sticky & Sweet” world tour.
- Speaking of Madonna, Oakenfold is currently producing brand new material for her forthcoming greatest hits album, which is slated for release this September.
- Oakenfold also continues to work on his forthcoming full-length, titled Pop Killer, which will be released in 2010. The project is already said to feature collaborations with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, and Ce-Lo.
