In part two of indie mind explosion summer (see: No Age + Deerhunter + Dan Deacon), The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have announced plans for a North American tour with (drum roll please)… Cymbals Eat Guitars. Yes, the same Cymbals Eat Guitars who recently caught the attention of Sister’s Den Records and who are reissuing their debut LP, Why There Are Mountains, on September 22nd. The fun kicks off in September and lasts until October with a few festival appearances in between.
