What do you get when you combine a group of Los Angeles rockers, the production talents of Justin Meldal Johnsen (NIN/Beck/Gnarls Barkley), and the influences of Harvey Milk, David Sylvian, Cocteau Twins, and Pink Floyd? But the sophomore full-length album by Division Day, of course! It’s called Visitation and is due out on August 18th via Dangerbird Records.
The album will also bring with it a month-long tour. Beginning in September, Division Day will hit the road with labelmates Bad Veins for a 16-date adventure.
While you’re waiting, check out Visitation’s first single via the band’s MySpace. What’s more, another track, the dark and layered “Devil Light”, is available in the form of a free remix via dangerbirdrecords.com/visitation.
