In case you’ve spending the last six months either living under a rock or devoting every single waking minute glued to the Guns n’ Roses website waiting for those world tour dates (which probably won’t even come), you probably know the Yeah Yeah Yeah’ Karen O has penning the soundtrack for the upcoming film, Where The Wild Things Are. What you probably didn’t know (because until recently no one did) is that the soundtrack will be released two weeks prior to the film on September 29th. What’s more, it will be proceeded by its first single, “All Is Love”, on August 25th.
As Rolling Stone reports, the soundtrack will include contributions from Yeah Yeah Yeah’s bandmates Brian Chase and Nick Zinner, Deerhunter’s Bradford Cox, Liars’ Aaron Hemphill, The Raconteurs/The Dead Weather’s Jack Lawrence, The Bird and the Bee’s Greg Kurstin, and Imaad Wasif. The Afternoons’ Tom Biller served with Karen as co-producer.
Needless to say, you can put this in the category of “super unbelievably anticipated.”
