Update: In an interview with Jay Leno tonight, Kanye West announced he would be taking a career break. No word on what this means for his newly announced tour, but given the lack of an “official” announcement for the tour, we’d assume a postponement or cancellation is coming. That said, dates remain listed on Ticketmaster and Livenation.

While it may not be the best time to announce a new world tour, Kanye West has done just that. As we first reported last Friday, the Chicago rapper will finally team up with Lady Gaga for a much anticipated, long talked about North American co-headlining tour.

The trek, which is billed as “Fame Kills,” will be a three month affair, kicking off out west in early November. The duo will then make its way across Canada before hitting the east coast in December. Following some more Canadian dates, the tour will conclude in Dallas, TX on January 24th.
