“The Cocks are cummin’ to your town soon. Hide your daughters,” warns industrial metal god Al Jourgensen. All who remember the power of the Revolting Cocks (also called RevCo) as support for Ministry last year will know to take heed. Perversion galore reigns supreme as the industrial madhouse announces a full-fledged headlining tour for 2009, its first ever in North America during its 20-year career. Properly inducting RevCo into the wide, wide world of North American headliners is none other than Jim Rose, who’s quite the spectacle himself. Those who witnessed The Jim Rose Circus with NIN during the mid-90s will never forget. (Track down a copy of NIN’s Closure on VHS to relive it.)

The current Cocks lineup consists of singer Josh Bradford, guitarist Sin Quirin, and keyboardist Clayton Worbeck. In addition to the always discernible Jourgensen, RevCo will be joined by Ministry/Prong/John5’s Aaron Rossi, and Opus Dai/Powerman 5000’s Murv Douglas, who round out the frightening festivities that start just in time for Halloween. The whole thing is being billed as LuBriCaTour 2009 and will serve to promote both the March release of the band’s guest-heavy SEX-O OLYMPIC-O and the upcoming remix record, Sex-O MiXXX-O. Add all this to a fall docket of KMFDM and The Misfits, and we may very well have the scariest rock shows since the Gods, Guns & Government tour. But Jim Rose himself states:

These might very well be the most shocking and theatrical events I’ve ever been on and that’s just RevCo. I’ve also got more than old track marks up my sleeve for this sojourn and I cant wait to show the world!

Be sure to dig up their releases and watch out for Canadian cyberpunk outfit Left Spine Down alongside Blownload as supporting acts during LuBriCaTour. This is bound to be a bump in the night away from pure nightmare.
