Two of Britain’s most acclaimed acts of 2009 will soon be teaming up for a North American invasion of sorts. On November 17th, the Friendly Fires (in support of their Mercury Prize shortlisted self-titled debut) and The xx (in support of their 4.5/5 self-titled debut) will embark on a three-week, co-headlining North American tour.
Ahead of the dates, The xx will appear at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon as well as solo dates in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, and Chapel Hill.
