It seems like most of Snoop Dogg’s tours involve pot and/or references to the wacky tobaccy (see: the Up In Smoke tour and the was the recent Blazed and Confused tour). So, it comes as a bit of surprising to hear that for his next tour, the Doggfather appears to have abandoned (at least title wise) pot and is now welcoming us to Wonderland with his Wonderland High School tour featuring Method Man, Redman, and Devin the Dude.

The tour kicks off on October 27th in Baltimore, plays mostly east coast and midwest dates and then wraps up in Dallas, Texas on November 8th, and despite the name, will hit mostly at clubs and smaller venues and theaters.

Snoop should be busting out tracks from his soon-to-be-released 10th studio album, Malice in Wonderland. And if a new album and tour weren’t stressful enough, Snoop recently took over as creative chairman for famed west coast label Priority Records, where Mr. D-O Double G is charged with putting west coast rap back on the map. As for his tour mates, Method Man and Redman released The Blackout 2 back in May, their first album together in over 10 years. Not to mention Redman’s Reggie Noble “0” 9 1/2 album is slated for a TBA late 2009 release. Devin the Dude is the relative unknown of the group, with a more trippy and wholly unique style that’s garnered underground hype for years.

Malice In Wonderland is out December 8th. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.
