Ahead of the annual mid-summer classic known as the Forecastle Festival, the organizers behind the event will look to give festival-goers an early taste of what is to come. On January 23rd, the third annual Halfway to Forecastle concert will bring the likes of Kid Sister, LA Riots, Jesse Jamz, and Kid Color among others to The Electric Blue in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to live music, the event will feature a nautically-themed fashion show, light and laser shows, live graffiti artists, ice sculptures, break dancing, poster signings, and more. Fun indeed.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the 2010 edition of Forecastle is scheduled to go down from July 9-11 in Louisville. Lineup is still forthcoming.
