Back in 1970, a couple of 20-something folk singer-songwriters by the name of Carole King and James Taylor took the stage at the Troubadour in Hollywood. Now, four decades later, the two Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will tour together to commemorate that performance, according to Rolling Stone.

They reunited at the Troubadour for six shows in 2007 but did not tour. And unfortunately, the three Hollywood dates will take place at the much larger Hollywood Bowl this time around, not the Troubadour.

The tour has nevertheless been billed the Troubadour Reunion tour, and will make stops at arenas all over the Pacific, beginning in Australia and New Zealand, then off to Japan for two dates, and finally a two-month U.S. stay. Taylor and King will land on the west coast in Portland May 7th, head south to Los Angeles, and hit up the Midwest and the South before ending things in Lenox, MA with a July 4th show.
