Yesterday’s tragic death of indie garage rocker Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr, aka Jay Reatard, is now being investigated as a homicide, the local Memphis Fox affiliate reports (via P4k). Memphis police, who were called to the musician’s home at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, are now searching for a possible suspect and seeking the public’s help for any information. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
