Radiohead, yes Radiohead!, will get together this Sunday, January 24th for a performance at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. The occasion? To benefit Haiti.
According to the Los Angeles Times, tickets to the last minute show will be sold via auction, and bidding will begin at 8pm PST tonight! The band is “trying to raise as much money as possible,” with all proceeds going to Oxfam. Bidding, via Ticketmaster, will start at $100, and considering a.) the venue’s capacity is just 1,300 and b.) this is RADIOHEAD!, we’re guessing they’ll be some pretty big bids. But hey, it’s for a good cause!
“We’re in the middle of recording at the moment, so you’ll be catching us on the fly…. but if you’re up for it, then we are too,” the band explains. Guys, of course we are!
