This March 23rd, Zooey Deschanel and the equally awesome M. Ward will unveil the second volume of songs from their wonderful collaboration, She & Him. Today, courtesy of Pitchfork, we received our first taste of what’s to come, this in the form of Tilly and the Wall-aided track, “In the Sun”. An upbeat, piano-driven number, the song hears Zooey take the lead, only to be accompaniment by Ward, Tilly, and some strings for a catchy chorus. Check it out over at Pitchfork.
In other news, the duo has mapped out the first batch of dates for a Spring tour. Currently, Deschanel and Ward are mostly sticking to the coasts and festivals, however, appearances at South by Southwest in Austin,
