Simon and Garfunkel have been added to this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The Saturday, April 24th performance marks the legendary duo’s only scheduled U.S. date for 2010, and will see them paired up with the previously confirmed My Morning Jacket, Allman Brothers Band, and Lionel Richie among others for first weekend of the two-week, New Orleans based festival.
As previously reported, Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison, Widespread Panic, Jeff Beck, The Dead Weather, and Elvis Costello & the Sugarcanes will perform the second weekend of the festival, set to take place from April 29-May 2nd.
