Given the recent endeavors of the two gentlemen featured in the above title, the following news was bound to surface sooner or later.
Bruce Springsteen, aka the dude who does basically everything, and Jay-Z, who, as we told you a few days back, has been collaborating with U2 on a Haiti related song, have been added to Friday’s Hope for Haiti television extravaganza. The two heavyweights join the previously confirmed likes of U2, Dave Matthews Band, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Sting, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Jennifer Hudson, and Mary J. Blige. In all, some 100 celebrities are expected to participate.
According to Rolling Stone, Hova and U2 will indeed use the evening to debut the aforementioned collaboration. The song is also expected to go onsale via iTunes in the not too distant future.
In separate Haiti related news, the legendary James Taylor will hold two benefit concerts this weekend, January 22nd and 23rd, in Great Barrington, Mass. The proceeds from the show will go to Partners in Health. Tickets can be found via mahaiwe.org.
