The White Stripes announce first ever live album!

For those who don’t have the money for a box set or plane ticket to Austin but who still want the whole Under Great White Northern Lights experience, don’t fret. Jack and his big sister Meg have you covered.

Included in the March 16th limited edition box set release of The White Stripesnew documentary is the band’s “first ever live release.” As it turns out (via Stereogum), that album will also be available on CD and vinyl — for much lower prices. The Under Great White Northern Lights live album features 16 tracks, all of which are of course taken from the band’s 2007 cross-Canadian tour. “Let’s Shake Hands” and “Black Math” kick off the effort, while “Ball and Biscuit” and  “I Just Don’t Know What to Do With Myself” provide mid-album thump. Then, appropriately, CoS’ song of the decade, “Seven Nation Army”, closes things out.

The release will be available starting March 16th through White’s imprint, Third Man Records. Find the artwork and tracklist below.
