If you are familiar with multi-instrumentalist and Andrew Bird collaborator Dosh, chances are you have been wowed. Artists like him are the reason YouTube exists, creating musical spectrums that need to be seen as much as heard. Luckily for us, a tour is coming, and we can all take in the percussion and electronics one-two punch in person.
On April 13th, Dosh will release his fifth full-length, titled Tommy. The album features Andrew Bird on two tracks, “Nevermet” and “Number 41”. An MP3 of the album’s lead off track, “Subtractions”, is available below, and it does not disappoint. As for the tour, only a few lots of tour dates have been announced, but a full scale trek across the country has been promised. Find them below. He is also scheduled to appear at next months South by Southwest (we’ll be there too).
