Portland’s favorite punk rock meets disco trio, aka Gossip, is hitting the road again this April for a brief stint of dates throughout the U.S. In support of its latest Music For Men. The band has been non-stop touring since it’s release last June and is currently wrapping up the tail end of their Australian tour this month. Critics have done nothing but rave about Music For Men’s electrifying fast-paced energy since it’s release; packed with Beth Ditto’s traditionally bold and soulful vocals amidst rockin’ melodies, quirky electronics, heavy guitar and bass, and hopelessly danceable rhythms.
Gossip’s eight city tour throughout April begins at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 17 and wraps up at New York City’s Terminal 5 on April 30. And don’t forget, Gossip will still be appearing at Lilith Fair sometime this summer. Also, this March Gossip has plans to release their third single “Pop Goes The World” hailing from 2009’s Music For Men.
