“There’s a surfing thread throughout the record,” MGMT recently explained regarding its forthcoming sophomore studio effort, Congratulations. Well, it turns out that the Brooklyn duo wasn’t kidding. As evident by the album’s recently revealed, Anthony Ausgang-designed album art, a recent trip to Malibu (+ some serious psychedelics) will be the influence behind the sounds you’ll hear come the day of the April 13th release. Seriously.
