Ugh, what’s that smell? It’s some kind of unholy aromatic blend of skunk weed, stale sweat, and patchouli. Must be a concert from one of the 500,000 various incarnations of The Dead! One of them, Furthur (yeah, that’s right, not FurthEr, but FurthUr), will be embarking on the obligatory summer tour this year, TooBoard reports.
Furthur is an accursed, villainous grouping of original Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh, Dark Star Orchestra (itself a Dead cover band) guitarist John Kadlecik, RatDog’s Jeff Chimenti and Jay Lane on keys and drums respectively, and Joe Russo of the Benevento/Russo, also on drums. The tour will hit all the granola-iest towns in the northeast. Throw that Frisbee, avoid that shower.
