The Casualties celebrate 20th anniversary

Punk’s current appeal could not be further from the streetpunk revival of 1990. The decade saw the transition from hardcore with notable acts such as Black Flag, Bad Brains, and Dillinger Escape Plan, to the much more successful pop-punk movement. While the genre, and the fanbase, have shifted during the last 20 years, hardcore punk fans are some of the most resilient in the industry.

Preparing to celebrate their 20th anniversary March 28, the New York Street punks The Casualties, can attest to the loyalty of their fanbase.  The 2009 release We are all We Have was the band’s eighth studio release, and the band is touring as feverishly as ever. Beginning March 28th in Manhattan at Santo’s Party House, The Casualties will be bringing their brand of high-energy performances through Central America and across the states.  Warning: Bruises, bloodied noses, and black eyes are now on the rise. A complete tour listing follows.
