Influential is a term you often hear ascribed to Ariel Pink. He has brought his surreal and psychedelic show to L.A. as an opener for years, and you can see and hear the improvement and creativity with each new gig. It was only a matter of time for the world to catch up to the artist who is constantly moving forward, right?

With a new record, titled Before Today, on the shelves on June 8th, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti will hit all the major markets, except Florida. Why is it that no one goes to Florida? <Shrug> The new music boasts a more professional recording style on record, but you can be sure to expect the same chaos when he hits the stage in your town or nearest major city or next-door state.

Once again, sorry Florida.
