Broken Social Scene unveils North American tour

There are many reasons to attend one of Broken Social Scene‘s upcoming tour dates. For one, you’ll get your money’s worth. Plus, they’ll likely be playing several selections of their stellar new LP Forgiveness Rock Record. And never count out the possibility of a special guest or two.

All these reasons and more will be on display this fall when the acclaimed Canadian outfit embarks on a new North American tour. Following one-off appearances at the Sasquatch!, Pitchfork, and LouFest music festivals, Broken Social Scene will begin its travels on September 8th in Pittsburgh. The six-week endeavor will then see the band travel up and down the east coast before turning for a series of dates across the U.S. and Canada. The tour will come to a conclusion with a performance in Los Angeles on October 19th.

Tickets for the trek will go on sale beginning Friday, May 14th via Ticketmaster.com.
