Michael Gira has had people waiting for a year now on details about the Swans reunion return. Well, that wait is just about over. In January, Gira clued us in on new album and band details, and now some upcoming tour dates are trickling through (via Bumpershine).
As of now, the band has 10 scheduled gigs on the itinerary, starting on September 28th in Philadelphia. Other dates include stops in D.C., Boston, Toronto, Detroit, and Chicago, as well as an appearance at this year’s Pop Montreal Festival. They’ll then wrap it all up with two shows in their hometown of New York in October before making a special appearance at Supersonic Festival in the U.K.
Tickets for the Supersonic Festival are available here, while the Brooklyn Masonic Temple show will be on sale at Ticketweb May 14th at 10 a.m. Other shows will be on sale at the same time on Ticketmaster. The current tour dates are below.
