Watch: Jane’s Addiction (feat. Duff McKagan) makes live debut

As promised, Jane’s Addiction debuted its new lineup during a semi-surprise gig at the Bardot in Hollywood, CA last night. Frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, and drummer Stephen Perkins were joined by new bassist Duff McKagan for an eight song set, which included several old staples as well as a brand new selection reportedly titled “Soulmate”.

Several attendees of the concert reported a particularly tight performances. “This was the best I’ve ever seen them in person. And I’ve seen them maybe ten times since 97,” wrote a user by the name of swizzlestix on the band’s unofficial fan forum xiola.org. strongsilentsexy added, “Eight songs and the chemistry was good throughout the night, so I can’t ask for more.”

For your video evidence, scroll down to find fan footage of “Stop!” and “Mountain Song”, as well as new song “Soulmate”, which appears to hear a heavy guitar sound accompany a melodic chorus.
