If you’ve ever stepped into a Hot Topic — don’t be scared to admit it — you’ve undoubtedly experienced the influence of Glenn Danzig. Their locations serve as the main source for teenage punk-enthusiasts to obtain their mandatory Misfits’ tee. While many sport the Misfits skull unaware of the outfit’s musical output, Danzig has developed a cult following equal to any of the classic b-horror movies he references.

30+ years into his career, Danzig continues to be rooted in the occult, but his sound has morphed into a two-headed beast of blues and goth-metal. This transition is epitomized by Danzig’s newest single “On a Wicked Night”. Thanks to our friends at TwentyFourBit, you can check out the song below.

“On a Wicked Night” is the first release from Danzig’s upcoming album Deth Red Sabaoth — yah…we don’t know what it means either. Due out June 22nd through Danzig’s personal imprint Evilive Records, the Jersey born musician served as the album’s producer, songwriter, lead singer, bassist, and part-time drummer. He was supported in the studio by Tommy Victor (guitar), Type O Negative’s Johnny Kelly (drums), and ex-Samhaim bassist Steve Zing.
