A few Panda Bear/Animal Collective factoids for you: The musician born Noah Lennox has confirmed that the previously reported Amazon.com page listing a single titled “Tomboy” as due for release on July 13th is in fact true. The song and accompanying b-side “Slow Motion” will be available as a limited edition 7″ via Paw Tracks, and will mark the first in a series of singles that will be released in anticipation of the September unveiling of his next solo album, which is also titled Tomboy.
In support of all of the aforementioned, Panda Bear has also begun to plot out a few US tour dates for this fall. So far, four dates are confirmed, including appearances at the Hopscotch Music Festival and Musicfest NW.
