This past February, Ontario exports Diamond Rings and PS I Love You decided to hitch their wagons to one another and embark on a lengthy tour. Along the way, they went ahead and further collaborated on the split track “Leftovers” (with Diamond Rings’ John O’Regan on vocals). Now, with that outing still fresh in their minds, the amalgamation that we’ve dubbed PS I Love Diamonds has unveiled the corresponding music video for “Leftovers”.
The clip, available below, was directed by Colin Medley, who’s worked with both acts before, namely on PS I Love You’s “Facelove” and Diamond Rings’ “All Yr Songs” and “Something Else”. Aside from your standard “life on the road and rockin’ on stage” footage, the piece features the two acts cooking up something more than a great song: an intimate dinner to be shared amongst friends.
