It’s hard to believe The Twilight Singers haven’t issued a live album yet. On record, their hard-edged alternative rips by, track after track. On stage, however, it’s a whole different beast. Frontman Greg Dulli sweats like Ewing as he berates each song to death – specifically “Bonnie Brae”. It’s quite a scene. On November 15th, fans will be able to take this highly-concentrated energy home with them, when they pick up Live in New York, The Twilight Singers’ first-ever live LP.
Recorded this past May at New York’s Webster Hall, the 21-song setlist swims through the group’s discography, featuring heavy cuts like “I’m Ready”, “Teenage Wristband”, “The Killer” and more. Fans who pre-order the limited edition deluxe CD on the band’s official site will receive the full set, including an immediate download of “Teenage Wristband”.
