Remember the iconic video for the Smashing Pumpkins’ “1979”? Apparently Cymbals Eat Guitars do. In the band’s latest video, for track “Keep Me Waiting”, director Adam Kurland follows a group of visceral troublemakers as they gallivant across their town in a reckless tirade. Nobody throws a slushee or anything, but there are mailboxes destroyed (and a family). Let’s put it this way: The first half is all Richard Linklater (Dazed and Confused, Slacker), but the rest belongs to Charles Manson (murder, death, kill). Check it out below.
