The latest video from Duran Duran, this time for “Girl Panic!”, looks like those annoying Cosmopolitan commercials that pop up each night. Scandalous women, Roman-esque hotel rooms, and plenty of pouty lips. In the nine-minute clip, directed by music video guru Jonas Akerlund, several old school models (i.e. Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, et al.) portray members of Duran Duran. We won’t speak for him, but bassist John Taylor should be pretty stoked Crawford’s filling in his shoes. Who wouldn’t love to be her for a day? As your slightly hung over roommate passing by might add, “That’s pretty hot, dude.” Sigh, some 30 years later, Duran Duran still know how to make us envious of ’em.
