With two albums out this year, Wit’s End followed by Humor Risk, singer-songwriter Cass McCombs has had plenty to keep him busy on the road. Our own Summer Dunsmore got a chance to catch his reverence-inspiring show just last weekend. Don’t frown if you missed him this year, as his recently expanded itinerary will likely have him passing nearby come winter.
Following a trio of shows in the Pacific Northwest to close out 2011, the new leg will kick off on January 12th in Phoenix, AZ. McCombs will cover a good portion of the country, plus two Canadian stops, before crossing the pond for a trio of shows in England in early March. White Magic will continue as on support through the end of the current trek, and Frank Fairfield will take over the duties on the new dates (via Pitchfork).
