With just two songs, New York City songwriter Lizzy Grant effectively made her musical moniker Lana Del Rey a blogworthy name in 2011. But will the hype machine continue into 2012? Well, today we preview the latest single from Del Rey, the title track to her upcoming full-length debut, Born To Die. Below, you can check out the audio alongside some slightly NSFW visuals.
Update: According to an issued press release, Born To Die hits stores in the U.S. on January 31st via Interscope Records. That image above is the album’s artwork. The tracklist is still forthcoming, but Pitchfork reports that tracks include include the hit single “Blue Jeans” along with “Off to the Races”, “Million Dollar Man”, and “Carmen”.
Along with the album, Lana Del Rey is readying a remix EP, featuring contributions from Damon Albarn, Clams Casino, and Woodkid.
Finally, Lana Del Rey plans to follow up her sold-out shows in New York City and Los Angeles next week with a full U.S. tour this spring.
