Starved for some new Metallica? Still can’t chew on Lulu? (Even with Darren Aronofsky lending a hand?) Good news: An unreleased demo from the group’s Death Magnetic sessions has surfaced online (via Metal Hammer). Titled “Hate Train”, the aggressive thrasher incorporates that old-school Master of Puppets sound, even throwing in some more gentle moments. Don’t worry, though. It doesn’t get too soft. For example, James Hetfield kicks off the song screaming, “Hate is a train that thunders aimless in my head.” To think, that’s the first thing we thought two minutes into “Brandenburg Gate”.
