Who doesn’t love some good neo-shoegaze in December? This afternoon, New York’s own School of Seven Bells offers a first listen of its upcoming third LP, Ghostory, due out February 28th via Vagrant Records/Ghostly International (via Pitchfork). Titled “The Night”, the gazey elements take backseat to the duo’s impeccable precision at channeling Kate Bush, ‘Til Tuesday, and INXS, all in one fell swoop. When singer Alejandra Deheza wails, “devour me, devour me,” it’s a quick flower to the heart – like dandelions in a hail storm. How precious. Check it out below already, will ya?
