Check Out: The xx – “Open Eyes” (demo)

The xx are currently recording their sophomore LP, the follow-up to their CoS Top Star-earning self-titled debut. Today, the trio unveiled our first taste of their efforts with a demo entitled “Open Eyes”. Stream and/or download the mp3 below.

The band has been at work on their new album since early November and has been documenting the process on their blog. There’s no ETA for the album’s release, however, the band has already scheduled a few festival appearances in 2012. Check out their updated schedule underneath the stream.
