Are you a fan of advent calendars? We hope so because that’s how Consequence of Sound will unravel its 2011 annual report. Over the next two weeks – more specifically, the next 10 business days – we’ll be listing our top picks of the year on our very own CoS-endorsed advent calendar (for an example, see above; for the real thing, see our homepage). That includes our Stories of the Year, Photos of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Videos of the Year, Songs of the Year, Live Acts of the Year, Artist of the Year, Band of the Year, Festival of the Year, and Albums of the Year, respectively (and in that order). Excited yet?
Unfortunately, unlike the cheap cardboard calendars of yesteryear, you won’t be able to sin and skip ahead. These doors don’t tear. So, with that in mind, take note of the dates (scroll on each door), and circle back for the results. If you want, you could speculate below. We’ve checked our lists twice some 30 times over, and we’re all just dying to have you read ’em all.
But, one must be patient.
