Recently, comedian/beatboxer/soulful/lovable-weirdo Reggie Watts appeared at New York City’s Skirball Center for The Performing Arts, where he delivered a performance titled On Life & Quantum Entanglement. Like all of his performance pieces, the set was entirely unique and will likely never be repeated. Lucky for you, Watts recorded the entire thing and is releasing it through his Facebook page.
Four of 11 tracks are currently available on Facebook, while track five is streaming at Laugh Spin. The remaining tracks will be revealed in the coming days. Though none appear to be his proposed collaboration with James Murphy, you can hear his theories on divergent realities as they relate to Kurt Cobain, an explanation of the 90’s music scene, and, naturally, some pretty sweet (and strange) beatbox looping.
Next month, Watts will embark on a short European tour. Check out the dates below.
