It’s one thing to wear black, it’s another thing altogether to wear black…and a veil. But, that’s the look Dee-Dee of Los Angeles’ own Dum Dum Girls went for during last night’s performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Surrounded by equally funereal members Jules, Bambi, and Sandy, the group’s fearless frontwoman strummed away at “Bedroom Eyes”, staring vacantly into nothingness. Some might say she was oddly mesmerizing – especially those who walked out of Black Swan thinking, Son of a bitch, I’m in love with Natalie Portman – though, others might have just straight up dug the song.
