In one week, the Consequence of Sound-presented Modern Art Tour kicks off in Seattle, and will bring Miniature Tigers, Geographer, The Chain Gang of 1974, SPEAK, and Pretty & Nice to 25 cities across the country, in addition to South by Southwest.
In anticipation of the tour’s launch, members of Miniature Tigers, Geographer, The Chain Gang of 1974, and SPEAK will guest DJ the next two Thursdays on Turntable.fm. Each session will see the guest DJs spinning new tracks, exclusive first listens of upcoming music, and current jams they’re excited about.
The fesitivtes kick off 6pm ET tonight and you can join in by clicking here.
That’s not all though; Modern Art has also teamed up with Spotify to offer 24 aspiring DJs the chance to win an opening DJ slot on the tour. To enter, create a Spotify playlist with a minimum of 10 tracks, and submit the playlist here. One playlist from each tour city will be selected as the winner. Winners will be notified via email with details regarding their 30-minute set. You must be 21+ in order to be eligible.
