The release of Nicki Minaj’s latest single, the 2 Chainz-aided “Beez in the Trap”, has a rather fascinating backstory, and if you have 10 minutes to kill, I strongly encourage you to check out Funkmaster Flex’s rant right before he premiered the song on Hot 97 last night. Incredibly, Minaj’s sophomore LP, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, is still on target for an April 3rd release via Young Money/Cash Money/Universal Motown.
