As part of Deltron 3030, West coast hip-hop hero Del the Funky Homosapien is reportedly ready to release Deltron Event II, the group’s long-overdue sophomore album, sometime this spring. Now comes word that Del will release another sophomore album on June 19th, this one to his 2010 collaboration with Parallel Thought, Parallel Uni-Verses.
Entitled Attractive Sin (as if there were any other kind), Parallel Thought will release the LP through their own Parallel Thought LTD label. Blending the East Coast production style of Parallel Thought and Del’s legendary West coast flow, the album is said to “[pay] tribute to the likes of Ice Cube and The Bomb Squad’s Amerikka’s Most Wanted.” While Parallel Uni-Verses also featured rapper Tame One, this new record appears to be just Del and Parallel Thought, which consists of emcee/producer Caness and production duo Drum and Knowledge.
