San Francisco’s hammjamm originators Still Flyin’ will drop their sophomore record, On A Bedroom Wall, on May 22nd via Ernest Jenning Record Co. The record seeks to expand upon the band’s high spirited, indie pop sound, but the album’s lead single shows it’s not all just about endless fun.
“Travelin’ Man” sees the band exploring the inherent conflict of having the travel bug while there’s a romantic companion waiting for you at home. The theme is highlighted in the tune’s video by scenic yet somberly toned images of touring life. Sure, the road is great, but sometimes you just miss making a ham roast or movie night with your mate. Check out the Chris Rogers-directed clip below.
