Tenacious D, literally rock and roll’s most important duo ever, has released the triumphant music video for “To Be The Best”. The six-minute epic begins with a Maria Menounos-narrated news story chronicling the band’s downfall after the pitiful performance of their film Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny. However, following Val Kilmer’s assassination, the duo begin the long road back to glory, enlisting the help of Dave Grohl and Josh Groban along the way. The band’s third album, Rize of the Fenix, hits stores on May 15th via Columbia. Update: Summer tour dates have been announced:
